Value in Internships

Meet Chase Burden. He’s officially our very first intern at PCS! Chase provided significant value to our team over the summer in using his expertise in website design to upgrade ours, and he helped us implement some new back office processes in Microsoft 365. He spent time to listen and understand our needs, do research to implement industry standards, and enhance our website look and content.

Chase recently finished up his summer with us. We want to thank him for his time, effort, and talents. Our PCS team wishes him success in his career path and in finishing his education!

Here’s a little about Chase.

Where are you from? I am from Cross Plains, TN.

Where are you a student at and what is your degree? I am a student at Lipscomb University. My degree will be in Software Engineering.

What career path interests you? I would like to eventually start my own business. However, until then, I’m interested in website development and creating software for personal finance management (among other things).

What did you enjoy most while you worked with PCS? I really enjoyed getting some real-world experience. Specifically getting hands-on with setting up the website for you all. I learned a lot of interesting things through that!

What are your hobbies? My hobbies are mainly photography and videography, but I also really enjoy hiking and mountain biking!
